College Accommodates soldiers worldwide.

Central Texas College has long been known as an institution strongly geared towards the military.

Now, fo the fourth year in a row that reputation is offical with the college recently being named to a list of the Top 20 Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities.

The list compliled by KMI Media Group and Military Advanced Education magazine, is just one more piece of evidence that CTC is committed to its students, whether they be in Killeen or on a military ship on the other side of the world, said school officals.

“Since the 1970’s we’ve had contracts for military education all over the world.” said Barbara Merlo, CTC director of marketing and outreach.  ” if they published those rankings at that point we would have probably been on the list then as well.  This is just a good reminder of what we do because sometimes people in the Killeen community may not realize we take CTC all over the world.”

CTC currently has campuses across the U.S. in addition to programs in the Far East, Europe, Southwest Asia and the Middle East.  Classes on ships at sea are offered through the Army’s eArmyU program, MarineNet and the Navy’s Pace program.
